Someone in this forum are invited to submit s, or he could become a friend whose dog had died.
Just curious, this is a common practice in some parts of the world?

And there is no such thing as sympathy cards for dogs (or cats or other animals)?
Although how long this practice has become?
I wonder because I have never heard of this.

Never heard of that normal practice everywhere. I know people who may be emotionally attached to their animals, even if a lot, as a member of the family. If you think it's weird, you're not alone.

Yes, a card of condolence for the loss of a pet. I think Hallmark or American Greetings, and producing maps. KNW practice, if not the standard, but I know a dear friend, a pet, and he died, I gave them a card (and probably also mean that a movie or dinner for them and encouraged).
Yes! When I am in the 3rd Year of this little waffle **** take care of my mother to take my cat caught in the freezer and died. My mother gave me a card, the sympathy "was due to the loss of her cat" in it. It was very beautiful, I'm just thinking about breaking.

My vet gave me a sympathy card after I had my 1 years left Ferret d / t cancer. It was a nice gesture, but it made me cry the rest of the night ...
PetSmart offers a selection of sympathy cards for dogs. I do not know where else, but I'm sure other stores for pets are somethign the same.

There are so cards of sympathy for the loss of a pet. I do not know how long they have been available, but I have (in recent years and buy anything to their friends, their animals if they have not lost to find stocks to send).
Our two "Forever Dog" were suffocated by the complications of old age (life expectancy). On both occasions, our vet sent us a letter of condolence ... could be in the trash at an end, but it was much appreciated ... showed that he will be cared for the pets, not just cash.
